Luria Broth with Agar, Carbenicillin, and Cycloheximide is a selective and non-differential medium recommended for the cultivation of recombinant strains of Escherichia coli. It has since become a cornerstone of molecular biology, especially for growing E. coli in DNA cloning, plasmid preparation, and protein expression applications.
